Indene–Coumarone Resin is an aromatic thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin manufactured by polymerizing indene, coumarone, styrene,
and other aromatic fractions extracted from coal tar or petroleum cracking.
This resin is known for its high softening point, excellent chemical resistance, superior adhesion, and exceptional compatibility with rubbers,
phenolic resins, tar, and bitumen. Owing to its hardness, gloss, thermal stability, and adhesive properties, it is widely used in coatings,
rubber compounding, adhesives, road construction, waterproofing systems, and printing inks.
